Denying The Obvious And Becoming Stupid And Depraved

In his book, "What We Can't Not Know," J. Budziszewski outlined the four natural means of attaining moral knowledge: the witness of deep conscience, the witness of design in nature, the witness of our own design, and the witness of natural consequences. In unison, these witnesses lead us to this principle: "How things are meant to work," which Budziszewski said is, "just plain enough to learn from observing them and just simple enough to learn from the error of one's ways."

As an example of what Budziszewski was talking about, consider what you would need to do if you wished to attract butterflies to your yard. You would need to discover what particular types of plants and flowers attract butterflies. You would need to learn what sort of nutrients these plants require. Finally, you would have to dig up a garden plot, plant your flowers, fertilize, water, keep it weeded and wait for your flowers to bloom and butterflies to discover them.

Now before beginning your gardening project, consider for a moment what you already did know but didn't realize you knew. You know that when seeds fall into the ground they grow. You know there are different kinds of seeds for every sort of plant. You know that plants grow in soil and need water. You know that butterflies are attracted to fully open flowers and not buds. You know that spring and late summer are the times for growing things. Conversely, you know that seeds dropped onto rockhard ground more than likely won't grow. You know better than to plant a garden in December. You know that if you want cucumbers, you must plant cucumber seeds and not tomato seeds.

The point of this is that we can't do whatever we feel like doing if we want successful gardens, lifelong marriages, a safe and decent civilization, and so on. There are rules and disciplines to be followed, which means in the case of the garden, that we must plant flowers that attract butterflies. In doing so, we have submitted ourselves to naturally occuring inbuilt disciplines (transcendant natural laws), In short, we've acted in accordance to the principle of 'how things are supposed to work."

A key statement in the preceding paragraph is: "submitting to inbuilt disciplines." This means that there are in actual fact, right ways of doing things and wrong ways of doing things and this knowledge (truth) is knowable to us by virtue of the four witnesses. When we act accordingly things go right, but when we rebel against inbuilt disciplines, we incur the wrath of 'natural consequences." Things will begin to go wrong. Our lives will become one frustrating, depressing, angering, chaotic event after another. And if we continue to stubbornly rebel, everything will worsen incrementally until our minds become disordered and our behavior depraved.

All of the wisdom we know, and most significantly, that which we have but which we are unaware we have, is based in the lore (historic body of knowledge) passed down to us by previous generations. Each new generation weaves its own threads of hard won wisdom into the arras of truth and reality handed down from generations gone by.

America's traditional Judeo-Christian culture and civilization was created in accordance with how things should work, This is why America, up till about 35 years ago, was a culture of life, which means that all human life from inception till natural death had intrinsic value. This led very naturally to a child friendly civilization built of "one-man, one- woman for life" traditional marriages. Traditional families: mom, dad, children, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins are another example of "how things are meant to work." Because the majority of Americans had submitted themselves to naturally occurring inbuilt disciplines, their civilization was a stable, safe, decent, environment for the raising and nurturing of children.

People who can submit themselves to higher transcendent authority are people of 'sound, orderly minds' who are capable of becoming self-disciplined and morally virtuous. Such people are of the kind that founded America. People who stubbornly rebel against transcendent natural authority are possessed of disordered minds, and are most generally unselfdisciplined, overly emotional, liars, self-centered egoists, and amoral. People of this kind, should they gain positions of authority and control will cause social chaos, moral collapse, and ultimately destruction.

A prerequisite in the gaining of moral knowledge is that we need to live in such a way that we can interact with and observe nature. People who live in rural communities and on farms and ranches are generally the most common sense and self-disciplined people of all. Those who sequester themselves in 'elitist' conclaves, 'elitist ivory towers,' or subcultures such as are typical of today's "anything goes" homosexual communities, are generally the most out-of-touch-with-reality, unselfdisciplined and licentious sort of people among us. They are the kind who cook up crackpot utopianist schemes and utterly depraved stupid notions like 'man's created condition is a social construct" and 'transmales who identify as transfemale gender queers' should be given civil rights.

All of this leads to yet another truth that we know. It's one that the so-called 'enlightened' seculars and homosexual hedonists know as well but adamantly deny the existence of in order to escape taking personal responsibility for the choices they make. That truth is the existence of 'free-will."

Human beings are the Only creatures on this planet who have free will and can thus choose to do the right thing that works, or choose to do the wrong thing that doesn't and then rationalize their stupidity and perhaps even transfer blame to someone else. We know of the existence of free will by virtue of the four witnesses and via historic empirical wisdom. For example, we have never throughout the history of mankind observed stallions forgoing their mares in order to set up a 'stallion and she-stallion' affair. We've never observed birds choosing not to build nests. We've never seen lions decide to become vegans. We've never witnessed a dog pretending to be a human, although there are homosexual humans who pretend to be puppies. We've never witnessed the other creatures ceaselessly and obsessively ogling and obscenely drooling over each other's genitals. Nor have we ever observed any of the other creatures refusing to mate, give birth, and raise their young.

What mankind has witnessed throughout the annals of history are male and female birds pairing off, building nests, laying eggs, and raising their chicks every spring just like clockwork. We know that lions hunt down prey every day, dogs behave as dogs, an interest in sex among the wild creatures is manifested only during mating season followed by birth and raising of young. The other creatures don't have free will, so unless they fall prey to predation, disease, injury, or famine, their lives run like prerecorded programs year in and year out. That's nature working according to the principle of how things are supposed to work.

Only human beings possess the ability to learn from the four witnesses, figure out what is required of them, but then refuse to 'follow instructions' because the rules interfere with their personal desires. For instance, by virtue of the four witnesses, militant homosexuals do know that they are heterosexuals and not some sort of third or fourth gender or class of beings who are meant to do unnatural things to each other. The witnesses of design, of both their bodies and of nature point to reality and truth. When they observe how things work in nature, they see stallions and mares, hens and roosters, lions and lionesses, does and bucks. They see that there is no such thing as transfemale lionesses who identify as transmale gender queer lions. They see that every species can procreate naturally, and since as homosexuals they cannot procreate naturally, they know they are not living in harmony with nature. They can see that there is no such thing as genderqueer birds artificially impregnating themselves with turkey basters. They can observe that male and female human beings pair-bond as they have always done throughout history and likewise as the creatures in the wilds have also done and they know therefore that this is what is natural and the way things are meant to work. They know that their own parents were male and female; not two or three or more 'bitch-slapping' gender queer intersexed beings equipped with strap-ons and dog collars. They know that they have life because their fathers mated with their mothers. They look upon the design of their own bodies and can see that they have either a male or female body type and either male or female genitalia. They know from the physical trauma done to their bodies by the unnatural acts they engage in that their bodies were not designed to be used in those ways. They know from the horrible diseases they become infected with, but which heterosexuals do not, that what they do to each other should not be done. And they know that despite their outward denials, they cannot escape the witness of deep conscience which relentlessly tells them the truth: "You are a heterosexual."

Now here is one more truth: Homosexuality is not 'socially enlightened." That's a lie. There is no behavior, no matter how disgustingly depraved or barbarically sadistic that has not already been done or tried somewhere in our past and then rejected by our Western civilized ancestors. That knowledge, of behaviors tried but rejected, is part of the historic arras of wisdom handed down through the ages and accounts for our deep-seated feelings of revulsion towards homosexuality. Those feelings come from the deep conscience, where the wisdom of our ancestors resides side by side with what we know to be right and what we know to be wrong. It's among those things we know but which we did not realize we already knew.

This brings me to my final point, which is that our ancestors tried homosexuality but rejected it as a force of disorder and destuction. Our Founders warned against it, saying it was so disordered and depraved that it would destroy any nation foolish enough to allow it to flourish. To allow homosexuality to be taught to our children is to invite disorder into their minds and depravity into their bodies. To validate disordered minds and depraved behavior by awarding those things with marriage is to destroy that institution.

Tyrannical amoral secular man is in control of our culture and his disordered mind has made his selfish, depraved desires the measure of America's morality.

We must restore our Creator to His rightful place as our sovereign. Nothing less than that will do. It's either God or the morally insane, depraved tyrants who've been steering America towards the abyss.
